FLORIDA TECHNICAL COLLEGE  AND FTC CONTINUING EDUCATION

The logo must never be changed, modified, or recreated in any way. Any effort to change or alter the logo is against the company's policies. When using the logo on the light background, use the version with the shield with the Pantone 7716C teal border.

Preferably, use the primary logo. The FTC College’s Logo is available in two versions: horizontal and vertical, and can be used depending on the creative piece or document. When using the logo on the light background, use the version with the shield with the Pantone 7716C teal border.

VARIATIONS

The FTC logo used on an application will often depend on the background and method of production. When using the logo on the dark blue background (Sapphire), use the version with the white letters and the shield with the Pantone 326C teal border.

This logo version is only used on FTC College building signs.

CLEARSPACE

The Clearspace prevents type, imagery, or other graphic elements from interfering with the legibility of our logo. No graphic elements should encroach the border around the logomark. This space is determined by 50% height of logomark on each side. Measure the clear space for primary logomark by the height of the letter N.

Maintaining clearspace with the FTC logo depends on the type of communication and use.

INSTITUTIONAL SEALS

Institutional seals are authorized for the use of administrative documents, academic documents, human resources, and the Chancellor’s Office. Their use should be authorized by the management of each department.  

The seals cannot be changed in terms of color, nor can there be a change in the information contained.

INSTITUTIONAL SEALS BY SCHOOL

Seals for the exclusive use of Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, and Marketing. 

Their use is reserved exclusively for documents, uniforms, patches, pins, and marketing materials.

  • •They cannot be used in diplomas, transcripts, or merit certificates. 
  • • They are not part of email signatures, they are not allowed to be included in email drops, or in letterheads, envelopes, or business cards. 
  • •They cannot be included on banners, loose leaves, mesh, or any promotional material.

THE TYPEFACE FAMILY

Clear communication is an essential part of the FTC College brand and consistent typography plays a significant role in achieving this goal. Our corporate typeface consists of Geomanist series.These typefaces should be used in all print and online materials.

In the case of PowerPoint presentations, the following typography should be used.

Letterheads and envelopes can only be used for institutional purposes. They cannot be altered in terms of content or graphic design. Business cards must be authorized and requested by the immediate supervisor. These must be revised and authorized by Human Resources before printing. Neither the design nor the content of the cards can be altered.

EMAIL SIGNATURE

EMAIL SIGNATURE

Email signatures can only be used with the corporate email. They cannot be changed or altered. Neither the logos nor the information included can be copied or utilized for other purposes. Corporate employees will use the signature with all three logos. The rest of the employees will use the signature according to the division to which they pertain.

PROMO MATERIALS

PROMO MATERIAL

All promotional material must be managed and approved by the Marketing department.

Any use for promotions or sponsorships where the brand is represented must be informed and consulted with Marketing.

Promotional or informative materials cannot be used with other logos.

The events where the brand is being represented should be directed with order, seriousness, and respect. The brand should not be involved in activities that may damage its image.

Every uniform, shirt, polo, or jacket must be managed and approved by Marketing. Promotional materials cannot include words, verses, or sentences that are not part of its image, such as slogans or taglines.

BUILDINGS

BUILDINGS

The painting and signage of the buildings must have the colors and signs approved by the Planning and Marketing departments. The interior of the buildings should also include only the colors approved by Planning and have internal signage in accordance with the brand.

Signs, posters, bulletin boards, decals, dboards, banners, stand banners, or other material used in the hallways or in classrooms must be consulted with the Marketing Department.

IMPORTANT: The materials installed in the premises of the buildings such as banners, signs, vinyl, or posters must be in good conditions and installed in a correct and orderly manner.

Publications and/or mentions in any advertising media may only be contracted and managed by the Marketing

Department, notably:

  • ● Press – ads, interviews, or brand participation with logos

IMPORTANT: Participation in sponsorships or exchanges with other enterprises, businesses, or groups must be informed to the Marketing Department.

OOH MATERIAL

All Out of Home (OOH) material must be managed and approved by Marketing; including dboards, banners, billboards, building signs, and mesh. Dboards must only have the graphic illustration that appears here and should be printed in a 24x32 size.

The only authorized pages are those created by the Marketing Department. Fan page by institution and/or division: FTC College (Campuses), Online Division, and Continuing Education.

Fan page by campuses and centers: only one per each.

Social media pages by teachers, schools, departments, classes, or groups are not allowed to use the institutional brands or logos.

Social media can refer to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, Twitter, Messenger, TikTok, or WhatsApp, among others.
