Dear Graduates,
I would like to proudly announce that NUC University - Florida Technical College & DAVE School's upcoming commencement ceremony will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023, at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. This event marks the culmination of your hard work, personal sacrifice, and dedication.

Of course no one ever achieved any significant goal by themselves. This is your opportunity to celebrate your accomplishment with family and friends in the incredible venue of the Amway Center.

Graduates will receive an email with details of the event. Whether you are attending the commencement ceremony or not, we request you to RSVP at https://www.ftccollege.edu/graduation . Through this website, you can obtain additional information, order cap and gowns, and be added to the list to receive information about this amazing event!

The cap, gown and tassel combination set is $25.20 (before taxes, shipping and handling)for Diploma Graduates and $36.10 for Bachelors Graduates (cost is before tax and shipping).

Purchasing a black cap and gown is not required if you already own one. You can also purchase one from a different source if you choose, as long as it is black (matte). If you choose to use a different cap and gown, you can order just the Tassel from the Josten’s website separately. The last day to order is June 15, 2023.

Graduates are welcomed (and encouraged) to decorate their Cap. This is your special day!

Time of Ceremony: 6:00pm (Doors will open at 5pm for guests)
Guest Limits: Guests are limited to 20 per graduate.
Tickets: Tickets are not required to enter the arena.
Seating: Seating for guests are on a first come, first served basis. If you have a guest requiring special accommodation seating or other accommodations, please indicate this on your RSVP.
Graduate Arrival: Graduates must arrive at the Amway Arena beginning at 2:00pm but no later than 5:00pm on the day of the ceremony.

Amway Center Guidelines:
The Amway Center is a state-of-the-art facility that has been designed with your comfort and safety in mind. As you make your way to the arena, please note that all attendees are required to undergo a security screening process, which includes metal detectors and bag checks.

• Bags are NOT permitted.
• Small clutches are permitted.
• Small medical and parenting bags are permitted and will be subject to security screening at designated entry locations (max. 14"x14"x6").
• Photography and recording equipment are permitted inside the Amway Center.
• Tripods are NOT permitted inside the arena.
• Flowers are welcome, but glass vases and balloons are not.

Amway Center offers guests reserved/pre-paid parking in the GEICO Garage located at 400 West South Street. Reserved/pre-paid parking purchases are available through Ticketmaster.com or the Amway Center Box Office during regular box office hours. Purchases must be made by 5 p.m. on the day before the event.

The City of Orlando has additional downtown Orlando parking options available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking prices vary from $10-$20. For more information about Parking visit Amway Center website here.

There is no official commencement dress code, other than ensuring all graduates have their caps and gown; however, there are some tips and items to avoid for the day.
- Dress comfortably – graduates will be asked to check at least 3 hours before the ceremony therefore there will be long periods of sitting and standing throughout the evening. Most importantly, wear comfortable shoes, avoid wearing new shoes and consider a low heel if you are planning on wearing heels.
- Be photo ready and ensure you have light and comfortable clothing to wear under your regalia.
- Do not bring bags and check the Amway Center, check the policies of the venue: https://www.amwaycenter.com/plan-your-visit/policies

Diplomas will not be distributed during the Graduation Ceremony.

Graduates between November 2021 to May 25, 2023:

All students who do not have a Financial Aid Hold, should have received their diploma. If you have not received your digital or printed diploma, please complete the Diploma Request form.

Graduates prior to November 2021:

If you did not receive your diploma, please complete the Request for Diploma form. If there is no Financial Aid hold on your account, you will receive your digital diploma within 15 days after the ceremony and the printed diploma in approximate 45 days after the ceremony.
