Event Detail

The Grad Walk for NUC University Florida Technical College (FTC) will be scheduled as follows:

July 8, 2022 at 10:00am
Deland Campus
Pembroke Pines Campus

July 15, 2022 at 10:00am
Kissimmee Campus
Orlando Campus
S. Miami Campus
Lakeland Campus
Tampa Campus (will be held at the Lakeland Campus)

Each event is on a smaller scale and limited to those graduates who RSVP’ed by June 15. Graduates who did not RSVP will not be able to take part in the Grad Walk Event.

Graduates will receive the invitation to register on or before May 20, via email.

During The Event

When you arrive at the Grad Walk please follow the signs as students will be organized by program. There is no need to organize by name – everyone will be provided with a card with your information on it for the person reciting names to read as you cross the stage.

There will be various stations as you make your journey to your graduation stage to include opportunities for family photos, obtaining your honors cords, and more. Once you arrive and have crossed the stage, you will have the opportunity to take another photo before exiting the building.

Campus Safety Guidelines

All graduates, employees, and visitors must do the following:

In accordance with the latest CDC guidelines, we inform you that NUC University – Florida Technical College has updated the COVID 19 protocol to ease the face-covering requirement.

Effective immediately, in counties that have high, medium, or low levels of COVID cases will follow the rules below:

As of 3/13/2022, all locations have LOW or MEDIUM COVID 19 community levels. Any employee, student and/or visitor at the campus may opt to not wearing a facemask.

Before visiting the campus, if you respond "YES" to any of the questions below, please refrain from going to campus or, if you have already traveled to campus, please exit the campus immediately and notify your Supervisor and/or Instructor.

1. Are you still under an isolation or quarantine period for potential COVID-19 contagion?

2. Have you had a fever or felt feverish in the last 72 hours?

3. Are you experiencing any new respiratory symptoms including a runny nose, sore throat, cough, or shortness of breath?

4. Are you experiencing any new muscle aches or chills?

5. Have you experienced any new change in your sense of taste or smell?

6. Have you taken the COVID-19 test in the past 5 days, and have not received the results?

7. Have you been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 within the past 10 days?

Please note the CDC advises that older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions might be at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19. Guests should evaluate their risk in determining whether to attend. People who show no symptoms can spread COVID-19 if they are infected, any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19, and we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed during your visit.
